PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting CDMA signals in a repeater for radio communication is provided to enhance the simple functions of an old repeater by forming an AGC circuit, a level slicer, a mono stable multi-vibrator, a fast up slow down circuit, and an integrator for the judgement of the existence of a connected subscriber, the measurement of a PN code density, and the detection and control of CDMA RF power and generating detection/control signals. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting CDMA signals in a repeater for radio communication comprises a detector(120), an amplifier(130), and a comparator(150). The detector(120) is formed of a rectifier to convert a CDMA noise signal, outputted from the super regenerative receiving part(100) of an SPR(super regenerative receiver), into a DC signal. The amplifier(130) appropriately amplifies the slight signal outputted through the detector(120). The amplified signal is transferred to the comparator(150) through a fast up & slow down circuit(140). The comparator(150) compares the transferred signal with the most suitable receiving level value of the SPR.
