PURPOSE: An armrest for a door of a vehicle is provided to improve comfortableness by adjusting the position of the armrest properly according to the body of a passenger with an operating switch. CONSTITUTION: A door trim(130) is mounted in an inner panel(110) of a door(100), and an armrest(140) is protruded in the door trim of the inner panel. An operating switch(160) is installed in the front of the armrest to drive a rotating motor. A pair of arc cams are installed in the front of the door trim, and rotated according to operational direction of the motor. The armrest is supported in the upper part of the arc cam, and moved up and down with rotating the arc cam. The position of the armrest is adjusted properly according to the body of the passenger with actuating the operating switch.
