PURPOSE: A pneumatic type multistage solvent extracting apparatus is provided to extract the metallic ions by mixing water soluble phase with organic phase using air without using of an impeller in a mixing tank in the process of separating and refining the metal ions by extracting metal ions dissolved in a solution using nonmixing solution. CONSTITUTION: The pneumatic type multistage solvent extracting apparatus comprises an air suction and exhaustion distribution pipe(4) which is connected to an air suction and exhaustion unit to uniformly distribute air during suction and exhaustion of air; a mixing probe(6) which is connected to the air suction and exhaustion distribution pipe(4) to exhaust or suck an aqueous solution; a mixer and settler housing(8) in which a plural pairs of mixers(29) where the mixing probe(6) is vertically installed and settlers(58) where organic phase and water soluble phase are charged in; and an air pulse generator(10) which is installed at one side of the mixer and settler housing(8) to generate air pulse, wherein the mixing probe(6) comprises a suction and exhaustion port(18), an air chamber(20), and a nozzle head part(22) consisting of an upper nozzle, a lower nozzle and a guide groove, and the mixer and settler housing(8) comprises a water soluble phase port, first, third, fifth and seventh end parts consisting of mixers and settlers, water soluble phase projections, second, fourth, sixth and eighth end parts consisting of mixers and settlers, organic phase projections, and an organic phase port.
