PURPOSE: An optical cable is provided to satisfy a standard of an outside cable and a standard of an inside cable by using a jacket without including a noncombustible fireproof mica tape and a halide of prominent plenum. CONSTITUTION: A center pulling line(1) has a strong resistance to tensile strength or compressive force. A plurality of tube aggregates are formed by a tube(11) for covering the center pulling line(1). A plurality of optical fibers(7) pass through the inside of the tube(11). A jelly(7) is filled into the tube(11). A water swellable tape(15) is used for covering the tube aggregates. A fireproof plenum tape(17) is used for covering the water swellable tape(15). The fireproof plenum tape(17) is formed with a mixture of a mica, a glass fiber, a ceramic, and a resin. A jacket(21) is used for covering the plenum tape(17).
