<p>An elevator display unit, which is adapted to be attached to a wall surface in an elevator riding place or in the cage, comprises a planar light-emitting bodies (23a, 23b) installed along the wall surface, and transparent display bodies (13a, 13b) installed on the surfaces of the planar light-emitting bodies (23a, 23b). The planar light-emitting bodies (23a, 23b) comprise a flat plate-like light guide plate, a plurality of LEDs attached to one or more side surfaces of the light guide plate. This makes it possible to achieve the thinning of the display unit, and attaching the display unit to the wall surface eliminates the need to form a large hole in the wall (6).</p> |
