PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package for heating by microwave oven wherein a pressure release and air discharge do not accompany a pop sound or an explosion sound due to a positional relationship of a non-heat-sealed section as an air discharging means when the inside of the package has reached a specified internal pressure. SOLUTION: This package for heating by microwave oven has a branched section. In such a package for heating by microwave oven, the non-heat-sealed section for discharging gas is formed at least at one location in a manner to be opened to the external edge side of the branched section, at one section on the external edge side of the heat-sealed section of the branched section. Also, at an optional place of the 15 mm width including the non-heat-sealed section, the length (HO) from the internal edge of the heat-sealed section to the distal end of the non-heat-sealed section, and the maximum peeling strength (S) of a cut piece of the 15 mm width, of which the total surface is heat-sealed satisfies a relationship of HO>1×10<4> ×(21-36 O/S)<-4> for the package for heating by microwave oven preventing burst. |
