PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the aggregation of toner by avoiding the toner from being excessively stirred when the replacement of the toner in a casing is scarce because of performing control that the driving of a toner bank motor is turned off when a toner replenishing interval for a hopper on a developing device side exceeds a fixed time and it is turned on again when next toner replenishing operation is started. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a toner bank unit equipped with a casing 2, a toner stirring member 6, a toner end sensor 4, a sensor surface scraping device 5, the toner bank motor driving them, a clutch to realize the intermittent toner replenishment of the developing hopper on the developing device side when a toner end sensor in the developing hopper detects toner end and a toner replenishing device 7, and a control part. The control part performs the control that the driving of the toner bank motor is turned off when the toner replenishing interval for the developing hopper from the toner bank unit exceeds the fixed time and it is turned on again when the next toner replenishing operation is started. |
