PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle apparatus for a vehicle, which is improved in assembly suitability of a handle main body to a frame, and to prevent defective assembly of the handle main body. SOLUTION: The door handle apparatus is formed of support shafts 5, 6, a fitting shaft 51, and a fitting hole 41c. The support shafts 5, 6 are formed on a lever 23, for supporting the lever 23 with respect to the frame 21 in an axially movable and axially rotatable manner. The fitting shaft 51 is formed on the lever 23, and has a flat surface on a part of an outer peripheral surface of the lever. The fitting hole 41c is formed in the frame 21, for allowing/ canceling fitting of the fitting shaft 51 therein, by axial movement of the lever 23 at a midpoint of its entire stroke, i.e., at a location at which the lever 23 is rotated through predetermined degrees from its initial position. |
