<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binary color developer at a low cost which is excellent in the electrification rising property of the toner and in the environmental stability and which allows the powder not meeting the standard in the manufacture process to be reused. SOLUTION: The method is for manufacturing the binary color developer containing a negative electrification color toner which contains a binder resin, a coloring agent, and compounds expressed by general formula (I). In the method for manufacturing composed of processes of mechanically mixing of the toner, of melting and kneading, of pulverizing and of classifying, the powder particles which do not meet the standard and are produced in the pulverizing and classifying processes are again added to the source material and mechanically mixed. In the formula, each of R1 and R4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring, each of R2 and R3 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring, B is boron and X<+> represents a cation.</p> |
