PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a honeycomb formed body and drying equipment thereof which are capable of drying the honeycomb formed body having a cell wall thickness of 0.125 mm or below, without causing a defect such as a crack or a wrinkle in the outer peripheral skin part. SOLUTION: On the occasion of drying the excluded honeycomb formed body 1 of clay, in the method of manufacturing the ceramic honeycomb formed body 1 having a large number of cells 10 provided by arranging cell walls 11 of a thickness of 0.125 mm or below in the shape of a honeycomb, the honeycomb formed body 1 is exposed to a high-humidity atmosphere having a humidity of 70% or above and also irradiated with a microwave having the frequency of 1000-10000 MHz. |
