PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supplying a fixed amount of sediment capable of supplying a fixed amount of sediment without exposing to the atmosphere, which does not waste energy nor generate noise when releasing to the atmosphere. SOLUTION: This apparatus has a sediment supply port 1 at one side and a sediment discharge opening 2 at another side, a feeder 3 for which the number of revolutions can be adjustable is installed between the sediment supply port 1 and the sediment discharge opening 2, a compressed air supply port 4 is provided by directing toward the sediment carrying direction D, and the number of revolutions of the feeder 3 is adjusted in such a manner that amount of earth sent out from the feeder 3 becomes smaller than the amount of earth sent to the feeder.
