PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique in which development of dust, splash and spitting can be restrained by effectively enlarging fire point area and making into soft blowing, under condition so as not to bring about a refractory damage. SOLUTION: In a converter lance, a center hole and six positions of peripheral holes having the inclination, are disposed and a distance between the fire point and the refractory is made to >=0.4 m and while making <=30% of the overlapping ratio in the fire points, the total area ratio of the fire point is made to >=75%.
