PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable interruption of a printing operation due to no ink and restarting of printing by an ink supply. SOLUTION: A method for controlling an apparatus for printing comprises a step S2e of sensing a StatusData 1 from a printer by a host PC, and a step S2f of advancing the printer when the printer is in a pose of waiting the ink supply. The method further comprises the step S2f of sensing an ink supply waiting pose, and displaying an alarm. The method also comprises a step S2d of returning, and transmitting a printer status sensing command. The method also comprises the steps S2d, S2e and S2f of repeating until the ink of the printer is supplied. The method also comprises a step S2g of advancing when the printer does not wait for the ink supply, and transmitting an image data transmission command SendLineImage. |
