PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a zipper for removing warpage in the zipper and a device for the method. SOLUTION: In the method and the device, the warpage is removed from the zipper having an outside shape part having interlock elements and/or webs. The zipper is stretched in the longitudinal direction with the interlock elements elongated from each other. The zipper is supplied to good idle rings even when a spring load is applied. The zipper is supplied from the idle rings from a set of the first driving rings and by a set of second driving rings. The second driving rings are driven at a higher speed than that of the first rings to exhibit a stretch effect.
