PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for forming a lens by which a stable transfer of an optical surface is carried out. SOLUTION: The mold for forming optical element is provided with a heat transfer plate by which heat is transferred to punching molds and a drum mold simultaneously so as to adjust the cooling timings of the punching molds and the drum mold. Thus, the time lag between temperature lowerings of the punching molds and the drum mold is prevented when the punching molds and the drum mold are cooled.
