PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure detector of a small size and simple structure capable of detecting external pressure with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: This package for the pressure detector comprises an insulation base body 1 having a mounting part la mounted with a semiconductor element 3 in one main face, and the first electrode 7 for forming electrostatic capacity and the first joining metallized layer 8 for surrounding the first electrode 7 in the other main face, and comprises an insulated plate 2 having the second electrode 9 for forming electrostatic capacity opposed to the first electrode 7, and the second joining metallized layer 10 connected electrically to the second electrode 9 and brazed to the first metallized layer 8 in the one main face, and joined to the insulation base body 1 in a flexible condition to form a sealed space with the other main face therebetween. The first electrode 7 is coplanarly attached with the first joining metallized layer 8, and the layer 8 is by 10-50μm thicker than the first electrode 7.
