MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PHENOLIC RESIN MOLDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high-strength phenolic resin molding material having an excellent residual fiber length of a glass fiber in the phenolic resin molding nnaterial and excellent in mechanical characteristics. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a molding material comprising 100 pts.wt. of a phenolic resin which is solid at room temperature and at least 75-260 pts.wt. of a glass fiber, at least 50 wt.% of the compounded amount of the employed phenolic resin is caused to be composed of a powder having a particle size of less than 250μm.
