PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propylene polymer which is excellent in stiffness and heat resistance, contains a high-mol.-wt. component in a high content, and is excellent in moldability. SOLUTION: This propylene polymer has following characteristics: (1) the melt flow rate(MFR) measured at 230 deg.C under a load of 2.16 kg is 0.1-1,000 g/10 min; (2) the isotactic triad fraction (mm) measured by<13> C-NMR is 99.0% or higher; (3) the Q value measured by GPC is 2.0-6.0; (4) the relation between melt flow rate (MFR: g/10 min) measured at 230 deg.C under a load of 2.16 kg and the memory effect(ME) measured at 190 deg.C under an orifice diameter of 1.0 mm satisfies equation (I): (ME)>=-0.26×log(MFR)+1.40 (I); (5) the amount of xylene solubles (CXS) at 23 deg.C satisfies equation (II): CXS<=0.5×[C 2]+0.2×log(MFR)+0.5 (II) (wherein [C2] is the ethylene monomer content (wt.%) in the polymer); and (6) the melting point (Tm) measured by DSC is 120 deg.C or higher.
