PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-corrosive agent for a metal surface, having good solution stability as a water borne solution, high safety and good film forming properties, and capable of forming a film excellent in corrosion resistance, processibility and coating adhesive properties. SOLUTION: The anti-corrosive agent for a metal surface comprises 100 pts.wt. of a vinyl alcohol polymer, 0.1-40 pts.wt. of an organic titanium compound (A) having a chelate-type ligand, and/or 0.1-20 pts.wt. of a zirconium compound (B), and/or 0.1-50 pts.wt. of a maleic anhydride polymer (C), wherein the sum of (A), (B) and (C) is 0.1-50 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of the vinyl alcohol polymer. |
