PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift operation device for a transmission having no synchronizing mechanism on each speed change clutch portion allowing smooth shift operation even if dragging torque occurs in a friction clutch for connecting/ disconnecting the transmission of driving force from an engine to the transmission. SOLUTION: The shift operation device for making a shift lever actuated in a shifting direction to actuate a clutch sleeve properly engaging dog teeth of a speed change gear controls electric power in a pulse form to be supplied to a shift actuator at least until a shift strike located at the front end of a dog-tooth chamfer gets to the rear end thereof when the electric power is supplied to the shift actuator for executing gear-in operation. |
