PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pump efficiency of a turbine type fuel pump by controlling the loss close to a fuel discharge port, having a terminal part of a pump passage connected and increasing the flow rate or the discharge quantity of fuel, while reducing impeller drive torque. SOLUTION: The turbine type fuel pump includes a casing 21, having an impeller space 31 and C-shaped pump flow passage 30 and having terminal end parts 26b, 36b of the pump flow passage 30 connected to the fuel discharge port 29, an impeller 40 having plural blades 42 inclined to have an end part 42a in one side groove part 26 side forming the pump flow passage 30, which is positioned behind an end part 24b in another side groove part 33 side in the rotation direction of the impeller y, and a motor 15 rotating the impeller 40.
