PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a stake that is driven into firm ground by a drilling machine. SOLUTION: The method includes a step for mounting a sensor to the drilling machine for measuring dynamic characteristics in a drilling tool, a step for storing a value that is measured by the sensor to a continuous depth, a step for calculating at least a first variable for showing geological features to be encountered based on the stored measurement value for each depth and for storing the continuous value of the first variable to the continuous depth, a step for processing the continuous value of the variable and for discovering the substantially continuous range of the value of the variable corresponding to the acceptable geological features, and a step for interrupting drilling when the substantially continuous range of an acceptable value is detected.
