PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which physiologically active amines are analyzed with high sensitivity and with high accuracy by using a fluorescent resonance energy transfer(FRET) phenomenon. SOLUTION: A fluorescent reagent which is selective with reference to an amino group is bonded to a physiologically active amine such as an indoleamine comprising a spontaneous fluorescence characteristic, a catecholamine-related substance or the like so as to be changed into a derivative. The derivative is excited at an excitation wavelength in the spontaneous fluorescence characteristic of the physiologically active amine. A fluorescence resonance energy transfer is caused between adjacent fluorescent molecules inside the derivative, and fluorescence is analyzed.
