PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a cargo from being sandwiched by a pair of guiding devices with excess force in a cargo conveying carriage equipped with a pair of the guiding devices for sandwiching the cargo. SOLUTION: A pair of the guiding devices 13 for guiding the cargo to a direction of a transfer passage are provided on a carriage body 8. The guiding devices 13 are constituted to be separated and to approach to each other by a driving device 16. The guiding device 13 is provided with a guiding member 17 abutting onto a side surface of the cargo and a supporting member 18 for supporting the guiding member 17 at a predetermined interval A, respectively. An expansible spring 26 for energizing the guiding member 17 to a direction of the cargo is provided between the guiding member 17 and the supporting member 18. A limit switch 29 for detecting that an interval between the guiding member 17 and the supporting member 18 is reduced from the predetermined interval A to a reference interval is provided on the supporting member 18. The driving device 16 is controlled based on the detection by the limit switch 29.
