PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save energy and to reduce costs, in a belt conveyor device. SOLUTION: In this belt conveyor device, a belt to be traveled and driven by driving devices 48 and 48 is provided between a carrying-in part and a carrying-out part for an object to be conveyed, an object to be carried is mounted in the carrying-in part, side end parts each other of the belt are joined to form a cylindrical shape, the object to be carried is held within the cylindrical belt and is carried, and the belt is opened in a flat shape in the carrying-out part. The belt conveyor device is provided with the driving devices 48 and 48 on both of the carrying-in part and carrying-out part. Both of the driving devices 48 and 48 are operated by being synchronized with each other.
