PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper box which can be formed with a large opening with double covers for taking out the contents, is reclosable, and can be efficiently made by a case forming machine. SOLUTION: This paper box has a shape of rectangular parallelpiped, a top surface plate is provided with two folding lines parallel to one of pairs of opposing folding lines provided on the edges of the top surface plate, two first break lines parallel to the other pair of the opposing folding lines connecting both end portions of the two folding lines and provided on the top surface plate, and a second break line connecting the two first break lines and provided to form an openable and closable edge, the two folding lines form double cover plates when breaking the top surface plate along the second break line and the first break lines, and the inside surface of one of the top surface plate forming the cover plates is sticked with an engaging plate engaging with the openable and closable edge provided on the other top surface plate forming the cover plates.
