METHOD FOR BONDING SKIN MATERIAL OF SEAT FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the taking in and out of a base member to which a bonding fixture is attached to enhance work efficiency and to reduce the installation area of an apparatus while increasing the temperature rising speed of a heating tank to shorten a heating time. SOLUTION: A pad material 3 and a skin material 5 are set to the lower mold 12 of the bonding fixture 11 in such a state that a reactive adhesive 7 is applied to the gap between the pad material 3 and the skin material 5 and the upper mold 13 of the bonding fixture 11 equipped with a surface press member 15 and a press blade 17 for a pattern and having air permeability is registered with the lower mold 12. The skin material 15 is pressed to the pad material 3 by the surface press member 15 and the press blade 17 for the pattern so as to be matched with the pattern of the pad material 3. The bonding fixture 11 is heated in the heating tank 21 by a heating means. The heating means comprises the spraying of hot air due to a blower 37 and a heater 34 and the supply of steam from a steam pipe 33. The bonding fixture 11 is preheated by the hot air from the side of the skin material 5 arranged to the bonding fixture 11 and steam is subsequently sprayed and hot air is then sprayed to blow off steam.
