The invention relates to a method for the computer-assisted production of public keys for encoding information, whereby a piece of information can be encoded using a public key (14) and can be decoded using a private key (16) which is adapted to the public key (14). The public key (14) is composed of a first part and a second part (18,20). According to the invention, the first part (18) of the public key (14) is the same for all receivers (12,12',12'') of encoded information, and the second part (20) of the public key (14) is calculated taking into account the data clearly indicating a receiver (12). |
