An improved anti-squeak system for use in, for example, a motor vehicle is prepared by applying and curing a reactive polyurethane forming coating composition onto the interior surface of a shaped thermoplastic foam article, the shaped thermoplastic foam article having an exterior surface and an interior surface, wherein the interior surface has been shaped to fit a substrate. The reactive polyurethane coating system offers a unique combination of improved anti-squeak performance and reduced part preparation time. |
