<p>A bed has a fixed frame section. In the frame section, there is secured a raisable back rest unit (12), a raisable leg rest unit (22) and an operating device. The operating device is intended for positional adjustment of the back rest unit (12) and the leg rest unit (22) and is placed substantially above the underside of the frame section. The operating device further includes a drive motor which is connected, on the one hand, to the frame section and, on the other hand, to both back rest unit (12) and the leg rest unit. The connection between the drive motor and the back rest unit (12) and leg rest unit (22), respectively, includes a number of linkage arms.</p> |
