<p>A so-called comb-type labyrinth seal (S1) is provided at a gap part between the outer circumferential part of a rotor blade (2) on the rotary side and a labyrinth packing (9) on the stationary side. The seal (S1) has a plurality of seal fins (F1, F2) provided oppositely on the opposite sides of the gap part. Since these seal fins (F1, F2) are arranged in the axial direction at a nonconstant pitch, clearance between the opposite seal fins (F1, F2) is not decreased even upon occurrence of relative positional shift in the axial direction between a casing provided with the labyrinth packing (9) and a rotor (1) due to difference of thermal expansion.</p> |
