METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING ACTUAL POSITION DATA ON MACHINING TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for determining actual position data on a machining tool by an actual article in a manufacturing field of a tooth recovering passive body by using a grinder of a CAD/CAM grinding machine of dentistry. SOLUTION: The tool is brought near to a reference surface 10 of a workpiece 8 or a part body 9 joined to the workpiece by adjusting a rotational speed of the tool such as a stopping rotation of the tool 1 by a friction load with the workpiece to a measurable low rotational speed, the reference surface is relatively moved along the tool before the contact of the tool and the reference surface or at a contact time, and an actual position of the reference surface is determined by an asymmetric characteristic of a contact surface formed on the reference surface in so doing.
