<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate separation of a composite communication cable, which consists of a combinedly coated coaxial cable and optical cable, without damaging them. SOLUTION: In order to separate a coaxial cable 1 and an optical cable 3 from a composite communication cable in which the two cables are integrated with a combined coat 4, a tear cord 18 for breaking this coat is imbedded inside the combined coat 4 which is at least located either on the coaxial cable 1 side or on the optical cable 3 side, or a notch 19 for reducing the thickness of the coat is formed on a surface of the combined coat 4 which is at least located either on the coaxial cable 1 side or on the optical cable 3 side.</p> |
