PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-insulating container which can be gripped by bare hand even when a content is heated, and the surface of the container main body is hot. SOLUTION: The external surface of the container main body, wherein a recess is provided on the external surface of the body section, is coated with a coating material. Thus, an air layer is formed between the coating material and the container main body for this heat-insulating container.
