PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost for device technique, and enable flexible fastening of a work having a different shape and size, by omitting a fixed supporting device having a geometrically defined device. SOLUTION: A holding device 10 for holding a large-sized component is provided with a plurality of fastening units 1 to 8 capable of moving on a rail device 11. In the holding device, units 2, 4, 6 of the fastening units are disposed along one side of the component, and other units 3, 5, 7 of the fastening units are provided along the other side of the component. The fastening units 2 to 7 are provided with movable and rockable arms 14. The minimum number of the fastening arms 14 is allowed to outwardly move from a machining range of a working machine 16 in order to make a space for the working machine in a range of the fastening units 1 to 8 for carrying out a machining cycle of the working machine 16. The maximum number of the fastening unit s1 to 8 simultaneously keeps supporting of a component 21. |
