摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock-up device with a piston for pushing a friction connection of a drive plate against a front cover, using a simplified piston connecting mechanism for connecting the piston to the front cover. SOLUTION: The piston connecting mechanism 75 comprises, mainly, a return plate 76 arranged between the front cover 11 and the piston 74 in the axial direction and the drive plate 77. The return plate 76 has a flexible portion 76c formed for movement between the piston 74 and the front cover 11 in the axial direction. The drive plate 77 has the function of locking the return plate 76. The piston 74 is movable in the axial direction but immovable in a rotating direction with respect to the front cover 11.
