PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove a wear powder 20 even when adhered onto a fixed contact 6 in a control switch for an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: In the contact structure of control switch for an automatic transmission which comprises a movable body 4 revolving in an almost fan shaped housing 1 according to the changing operation of a shift lever of the automatic transmission, a movable contact 5, stored in a recess part 41 set in the movable body 4, a spring 7 energizing the movable contact 5 in the direction so as to protrude from the recess 4a, and the fixed contact 6 set in the face opposite to the movable contact 5 set in the housing 1, and at least a position signal indicating a shift position of the automatic transmission is generated by coming in contact with the fixed contact with a prescribed contact pressure, the section of a contact part 5a with the fixed contact 6 of the movable contact 5 is formed in a knife-edge shape in the almost orthogonal direction of the rotational direction of the movable contact.
