The invention relates to an annular connecting flange for fitting to one end of a tubular component. The aim of the invention is to provide an annular flange, which is less susceptible to damage as a result of the stress to which it is subjected during operation. The annular connecting flange comprises a tubular section for fitting to one end of a tubular component, in particular a tower section for constructing a tower of a wind-energy turbine, and a flange collar that is attached radially to one end of the section, said collar having a flange surface that faces away from the axis of the tubular section. The flange is characterised in that the exterior wall (15) of the tubular section (4) is conical, in particular for fitting to a component (8) that is likewise conical. |
