The invention relates to an improved versatile extractor which can be used to drain the oil contained in a vehicle engine. The inventive extractor comprises a hose (4) and connecting means (11) having a non-return valve (5), which are disposed at the end of the hose opposite that which is fixed to a tank (2). Said non-return valve is provided with an elbow pipe which is connected to a connector (6) inside the engine (10) or, more specifically, in the oil filter zone (8), which is connected to the oil pump (9) inside the engine (10). The oil is extracted using the energy produced by the vehicle engine (10) in less than 25 seconds.
