The invention relates to a device for adjusting a time indicator comprising a gear train (1), the kinematic chain of which comprises a sliding pinion (2) which is driven by a driving mobile (3). The sliding pinion drives a driven mobile (4) when the driving mobile turns in a first direction (A) and disconnects from said driven mobile when the driving mobile (9) turns in a second opposing direciton (B).
