PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the deterioration in comfortableness due to the motion of the temperature-regulating function of a mounted IPM to a minimum in an air conditioner. SOLUTION: In an air conditioner, there are provide a thermistor and a temperature-detecting circuit for detecting the temperature of a mounted IPM, and a controlling means for controlling the operating condition of a compressor according to this detected thermistor temperature. The controlling means detects the thermistor temperature every first predetermined time (ST1, ST2 and ST3). When this detected thermistor temperature is 100 deg.C or above, the operation of the compressor is stopped (ST4 and ST5). When the detected thermistor temperature is between 100 deg.C and 95 deg.C, the current number of the revolutions of the compressor is reduced by a predetermined value (ST7 and ST9). When the thermistor temperature is between 95 deg.C and 90 deg.C, the raising control of the number of the revolutions of the compressor is not performed (ST11 and ST12). Then, the temperature-regulating motion is performed. |
