PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic/ urethane copolymer which has excellent adhesion even to a base material having hard adhesion and gives a two-pack aqueous acrylic/urethane copolymer composition having excellent film properties, a two-pack aqueous composition having the aqueous dispersion as the major agent, and a coating material and an adhesive which contain the composition. SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion of a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic/urethane copolymer is obtained by chain extending a neutralized product of an isocyanate group-terminated prepolymer to be obtained from (a) an organic polyisocyanate compound, (b) a high-molecular weight polyol containing an acrylic polyol copolymerized with an ultraviolet-absorbing monomer, and (c) a compound having an anionic hydrophilic group and two or more active hydrogens with the use of (d) a water soluble polyamine, hydrazine or a derivative thereof in water, and subsequently or simultaneously with the chain-extension, blocking the terminal isocyanate group with (e) a primary or secondary amine having a hydroxyl group. The two-pack aqueous acrylic/urethane composition, the coating material and the adhesive are also described.
