PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material having a high color sensitivity and excellent preservation stability of color developed image. SOLUTION: A thermal recording material contains at least one compound selected from compounds represented by formulas (1) and (2). (wherein, R1-R5 are H atom, halogen atom, alkyl; R6 is H atom or alkyl; R7 is H atom, halogen atom, alkyl; R8 is aryl or alkyl; R9 is aryl, aralkyl; A is O or S; X is allylene or alkylene; Y is -O-, -S-, -CO-, -O-CO-, -O-SO2 -, -SO2 -O-, -NH-SO2 -, -SO2 -NH-, -S-SO2 -, -NH-CO-; furthermore radicals selected from R1 and R2, R2 and R3 and adjacent each other, may bind each other and form carbon cyclic aromatic ring with substituted carbon atom). |
