PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of protecting a power source device for destaticizing bias from damage by preventing excessive voltage having spike waveform shape from being generated in the destaticizing bias in the case of changing transfer bias even when the interference of the transfer bias and the destaticizing bias is fierce. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a transfer roll for transferring a toner image to a recording sheet from a photoreceptor drum by using the transfer bias having a reverse polarity to toner, a sheet destaticizing member for destaticizing the recording sheet passing through a transfer part by using the destaticizing bias having the same polarity as the toner and a bias control means for controlling the applying timing and the intensity of the transfer bias and the destaticizing bias. The bias control means decreases the transfer bias immediately after the trailing edge of the recording sheet passes through the transfer part, while the destaticizing bias is instantaneously decreased simultaneously with the change of the transfer bias. |
