PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, cartridges and an image forming method to enable constant formation of satisfactory images by the respective cartridges when a plurality of kinds of cartridges area attachable/ detachable to/from the apparatus main body. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 is provided with discriminating means 21, 30 to discriminate kinds of a cartridge B mounted on the apparatus main body A and is constituted so that process speed and/or process conditions of image formation are changed according to the discrimination result. |
