PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep an image formation state always proper without making a device large-sized nor causing any great rise in cost by correcting image formation conditions by simple constitution of only a temperature sensor while taking even the dependency of optical response of a photosensitive body on absolute humidity into consideration. SOLUTION: It is judged whether the current states of respective input devices correspond to conditions for detecting ambient temperature TE1 as temperature nearby a photosensitive drum 1 in a state wherein the influence of a rise in temperature due to image formation processing is a little, and when so, the image formation conditions are corrected by using a correction quantity calculated according to the detected ambient temperature TE1. When not, on the other hand, it is decided whether the photosensitive body temperature TS1 is higher than predetermined upper-limit temperature, and when so, the correction quantity is reset, but when not, a last correction quantity is maintained. The image formation conditions are corrected according to the temperature nearby the photosensitive body drum 1 which is detected in a state wherein variation in absolute humidity is a little. |
