<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand an effective operable angle of a closer output lever. SOLUTION: There is provided a closer device which is formed of a motor 2 activated when an openable body is changed from an open state to a incompletely closed state, a speed reducing means (a worm 3, a first reduction gear 4, a pinion gear 6, and a second reduction gear 7), for reducing rotational speed of the motor 2, a cam 9 arranged at an output section (the second reduction gear 7), with a cam surface (a first cam surface 10, and a second cam surface 11) of a gradually expanding diameter, an operating section (an operating lever 12, and an engaging pin 15) which is rotatable upon receiving pressing force from the cam surface of the gradually expanding diameter, and the closer output lever 14 rotatable together with the operating section, to thereby guide the openable body from the incompletely closed state to the completely closed state. According to the closer device thus formed, by using external force exerted when the openable body is changed from the open state to the incompletely closed state (force received from a striker 27), the operating section is rotated to the vicinity of a location that abuts on the gradually expanding cam surface near a cam rotation center, and then the motor 2 is activated.</p> |
