PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a gold film on the surface of a sintered body of silver clay. SOLUTION: In the method for forming the gold film on the surface of the sintered body of silver clay by applying fluid paste consisting of gold powder, organic binder and water to the surface of a molded body of silver clay and then carrying out firing, spherical gold fines of <3μm average particle size obtained by a chemical reduction method are used as the gold powder contained in the above fluid paste.
