PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition from which molded articles exhibiting excellent scratch resistance can be prepared. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) 10 to 99 wt.% of a substantially random interpolymer, such as ethylene-styrene copolymer, comprising 1 to 99 mol.% of polymer units derived from an aromatic vinyl or vinylidene monomer and/or a hindered aliphatic or alicyclic vinyl or vinylidene monomer, and 1 to 99 mol.% of polymer units derived from at least one 2 to 20Cα-olefin, and (B) 1 to 90 wt.% of wood flour. The molded article comprises the thermoplastic resin composition. The molded article has flexibility and excellent scratch resistance.
