GETTING ON/OFF AUXILIARY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a platform having a platform door and a getting on/off auxiliary device wherein a step occurs to make a passenger stumble when mat-like load detecting materials for detecting a passenger are disposed at the tip (tip side of the platform) of an upper cover of the getting on/off auxiliary device than the platform door and a step. SOLUTION: This getting on/off auxiliary device has a front cover having a shape that is mounted on the rolling stock side end of the upper cover via a hinge mechanism and blocks a step exit substantially horizontally in progressing on the step or vertically via the hinge mechanism from the tip of the upper cover in regressing on the step. The mat-like load detecting materials are disposed at the tip (tip side of the platform) of an upper cover than the platform door and a part of a tread of the front cover.
